Se presentan tres de los doce libros que componen la Eneida de Virgilio: Libro I: La llegada de Eneas a Cartago, Libro II:La caída de Troya, y Libro III: Viaje por el Mediterráneo y estancia en Sicilia. La edición está acompañada de un estudio crítico en el que se han querido reflejar las aportaciones más recientes a la interpretación virgiliana a través de algunas obras importantes aparecidas en las últimas décadas, pero sin abandonar aquellos otros títulos antiguos que con todo merecimiento siguen siendo referente inexcusable para entenderlo.

The edition is accompanied by a critical study which aims to reflect the most recent contributions to the interpretation of Virgil through some of the most important works that have appeared in recent decades, but without ignoring those older titles which continue to deserve to be the essential reference to understanding the work.
